Hey Pastor John! Todd and I heard about Advent Conspiracy through a conversation with mom about what you guys are up to. We're so refreshed by the "conspiracy" to actually treasure Christ in Christmas over all the silly traditions and must-do's we've been so accustomed to in our culture. I look at all the "Jingle bell junk" at the stores with hurt in my heart that so many of us would rather buy that new "thing" over relieving a hungry child, clothing a naked baby, or pumping a fresh water well for a thirsty village. It should be obvious which one brings more joy and lasting value!
Anyhoo, just wanted to let you know how much joy it brings us to know that you and Oso are reversing the trend for God's glory--oh, that we'd hear this in every church and Bible study! I pray that Christmas will be redeemed from the all ho, ho, ho's and holly it's been lost in!
Miss you guys but happy we're still being encouraged by Oso!
