God & Weather

I've always been intrigued by weather and how it can change so quickly. I wonder if God uses weather just to remind us that life is always changing and we need to be prepared to trust Him and roll with it.

Just the last few days we've had 85 degrees, windy and dry; then 80 degrees and absolutely beautiful.
And then yesterday the wind blew 70 miles an hour, we had torrential downpours, a tornado (we don't have tornadoes in Corpus!!), and the temperature dropped about 30 degrees in 30 seconds (I know because I was out running in a tank top when it hit!).
And now today it's 45 degrees and the wind is about 30 miles an hour and it feels like we live in Chicago!

It would be kind of cool to get to control the weather! You could surprise a lot of people. (I'd bring a little more snow to Corpus!) Not gonna happen.

But weather - and life - will be a blessing and not a hassle, if I will trust God enough to roll with it and find adventure in the surprises.
