It's ALL Part of His Plan

The Caller Times had an article yesterday about Serving Sunday!

Pretty cool . . . They even called me 'Reverend' :) They don't know me too well if they call me Rev!

What it reminds me of is that we never know who God will impact as we give ourselves away. We never know who is watching, who is hurting and seeking. Who will read the article and know that they need to seek a place of refuge.

God said this through Paul:
"So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless." (1 Cor 15:58)

It was also kind of cool that there was a couple at Celebration this weekend who were on vacation from Austin. They heard the spot on K-Love last week and just came to check it out . . .

Matt Beveridge Update - 10-10-08

This morning at 11:30am Matt B. went to be with Jesus.

It was difficult. But Matt fought a great fight! He ran a great race! And now he receives a great reward . . .

We will have a celebration of Matt's life Monday afternoon at 4pm at Oso Creek . . .

Please keep praying for Gary & Laurie and their family.

"O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?
For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power.
But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ."

Hard Day

Today was a long, hard day. Started early but never really got off the ground. You ever have those days when it just feels like you drag your chin on the cement all day?

In the midst of it somebody gave me 1 Cor 15:58: "Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."

Stand firm. Let nothing move you. God is faithful. A great word for the hard days.
