Initiative

Rereading through Search & Rescue by Neil Cole this afternoon:

"So many leaders, especially men, wait on others to take the initiative in life."

I hear it too often. 'I don't have the time.' 'This place isn't doing it for me, I'm not being fed.' 'No thanks, I've never done anything like that.'

Whether you realize it or not, those statements are more about God than about you. Is He not the One who hung the moon and stars and owns the cattle on a thousand hills? Did He not craft you in your Mother's womb into a 'masterpiece'?

Where is God asking you to take initiative for the Kingdom? Where He presents, He prepares.
