- 1 ACT college entrance exam
- 1 College Student leaving for Colorado [Have fun Mimi!]
- 1 Minor Accident in the HEB parking lot [no comment :(]
- 1 HS Girls group at our house Sat night
- 1 Sermon [I'm so thankful for our Lineage in Jesus! http://www.osocreek.org/resources/listen-online/]

Whew! Thankfully tonight I only have two meetings :)

What a Weekend . . .
Cindy and I drove to San Antonio on Friday night for a soccer game --- the girls suffered their first district loss to Judson . . . but they'll come fightin' back!
Cindy came home and I stayed around for a church planting conference on Saturday that was awesome . . . got connected with some great church planting guys . . . including a good friend and church planter who I stayed with Tray Pruett . . .
Drove home Saturday evening . . . And then had an awesome morning of Celebration . . . followed by baseball practice this afternoon and then hanging out with the high school guys this evening . . . I'm stinkin' ready to go to bed!
One more thing . . . I was a proud Dad - at King they pick 4 'Favorites' in each class -- last year Laura and our 'adopted daughter' Elle were both chosen . . . and then at 'Favorites' this year on Sat night - Sarah was chosen! Along with Elle again! Pretty cool!

Weekend Runoff . . .
Wow, what a long - but good - weekend we had . . . and it's run over into Monday . . . it's nearly time for my leadership meeting tonight and I don't know where the day went . . .
Here's the weekend numerical recap:
- 4 hours with friends on Friday night
- 5 kids stayed at our house on Friday night
- 1 carwash on Saturday morning (KHS soccer!)
- 2 Grandparents came and visited us Sat & Sun (thanks for coming!!)
- 2 sermons preached (the elephants herded away for now . . .)
- 5 baseball games! (fun . . . but whew!!!)
- 3 meals at ballparks or Whataburger (because of the above)
- 1,000 (approximately!) tamales made in our kitchen for the student's camp fund raiser
- 0 times mail box visited (we decided this morning that we were too busy when Cindy went to put something in the mailbox and figured out there was about 3 days worth of mail we had never retrieved)

Great Weekend!
It was a great 4th weekend . . . .
- My Dad came down for a day and we got to hang out with him.
- Played about 14 rounds of Wii golf and beat Luke in about half of them!
- Saw my first official 'Kickball' game and it was even an all-star tournament (on another note they had the wildest and funniest home run celebration I've ever seen . . . but that's another post, especially if I could get video!)
- Got to run TWICE in the rain . . . and if you're a runner you know how awesome that is in the midst of the Corpus Summer (also ran for the first time early Sunday morning before Celebration . . . was great)
- We had an awesome morning at Celebration . . . challenging for me and hopefully for all of us to live out Radical Mercy . . . AND Steve Garcia led our music for the first time!
- Got to help a family move and hang out with them for a while
- And loved the rain that's been falling ALL weekend!
- No off to bed and ready for a new week . . .

Different Kind of Weekend . . .
I was supposed to take my girls (Sarah & Laura) to play in a soccer tourney this weekend in San Angelo. Then last minute it didn't work out and so we were at home . . .
While Cindy was at Women's Encounter (which I've heard from many went awesome!) -- it's always strange when she's not around . . .
And then not to be preaching is always different! I'm thankful for weeks off to catch my breath and focus on other needs (it makes a huge difference in my passion and energy!) -- and praise God for Dino R. filling in -- but it's always kind of surreal to be sitting out in the audience . . .
