Town Hall for Hope!

As we talk about being On Mission in our city - there is probably no issue right now that is grabbing more people's attention and stealing more of their hope for life -- than our economy!

What's a biblical approach to our current economic situation? Do we have to fear, or can we have hope?

We have the opportunity to participate with hundreds of churches around the US on April 23rd as we are going to host Dave Ramsey's Town Hall for Hope at Oso Creek.

Click here and check out what it's all about or just watch the video below.

This is a great opportunity not just to learn, but to also bring others with us who need to hear about God's money management principles and God's hope!

5 Reasons . . . .

5 Reasons Why You Should Come to the 9am Celebration on Easter Sunday . . .

1) I will be there!

2) You will be saving a seat at the 11am Celebration for someone who does not know Jesus!

3) You can volunteer to help serve and meet all the new people at 11am!

4) Those unchurched friends who you invite can come with you at 9am and then they will have the rest of their Easter Day with their family!

5) By intentionally giving the most convenient seats to those who need Jesus we are living On Mission!

Happy Birthday Cindy!

Today is my beautiful wife's birthday! And this is one of my favorite pics of her and our beautiful daughters she has poured into.

I chose her gifts around a Proverbs 31 theme because she possesses the strength and wisdom and grace and faithfulness and care for her family and nobility that Proverbs 31 talks about.

Many of you don't know her well because she is quiet, chooses her words and moments. And I admire that about her. I watch how she gently and wisely leads women at Oso Creek and I'm in awe!

Happy Birthday! This is a cool gift some friends left this morning as she was out talking our puppies for a walk.

And the Envelope Please . . .

How has God been speaking to you through your envelope?
[If you have no idea what I'm talking about then check out this post]

Are you still saying 'Send Me!'? Are you 'All In'?

A few of you have kept the deal and shared your envelope story on ocjourney.org.

Go check em' out . . . and then tell us about how God is sending you . . . and remember there's no 'small' God story!
