15

Celebrated Luke's Birthday today. . . . actually still celebrating as we've got a bunch of young teenagers over here taking testosterone out on ping pong paddles, wi paddles, each other, and anything else that moves . . .

Wow, where did 15 years go . . . but I'm blessed!

Happy Birthday Cindy!

Today is my beautiful wife's birthday! And this is one of my favorite pics of her and our beautiful daughters she has poured into.

I chose her gifts around a Proverbs 31 theme because she possesses the strength and wisdom and grace and faithfulness and care for her family and nobility that Proverbs 31 talks about.

Many of you don't know her well because she is quiet, chooses her words and moments. And I admire that about her. I watch how she gently and wisely leads women at Oso Creek and I'm in awe!

Happy Birthday! This is a cool gift some friends left this morning as she was out talking our puppies for a walk.

Matt Beveridge Update - 9-1-08

Good news, Matt is out of the hospital and back home as of the end of last week!

He is now going through 'immunotherapy' . . . which is a treatment that stimulates the immune system to help fight the cancer. He's been going through these treatments for a week now and the doctors hope to build back up his system so that they can do a bone marrow transplant.

And TODAY - Sept 1 - is his birthday -- 20 years old! I want to encourage you to flood his website with Happy Birthday messages - you get there by clicking here and then go to the Guestbook at the bottom and sign away!

Birthday Party Hangover

This is the morning remnants of Luke's birthday party last night.

Parents, this is what happens if you spend 2 hours at Gattitown (which I'm convinced will have a mental illness named after it someday as a result of the stimulation overload that occurs after being there for about 4 minutes!) - then play Wii for about 3 hours, followed by a 2 hour movie and have numerous uncontrolled wrestling matches in between.*
All of this activity is then exacerbated by approximately 6 cokes and 2 pounds of sugar each.

*[Disclaimer: Please don't allow your children to try this at home. This was performed with professional children in a closed living room.]

April Fools Girl . . .

Today is Cindy's birthday - what a day to have your birthday! My wife has been through all the jokes, so don't bother.

It's hard for me not to be sentimental on these days . . . this is Cindy with the kids shortly after we moved here. Wow, how time flies . . . and what an incredible Mom - and wife - she is!

I Love You!!!!
